Toronto Welsh and Dewi Sant are delighted to welcome Huw Boucher—a young harpist from Penarth, Wales, currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London—for a noon recital on July 14 at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church.
Despite his youth, Boucher has already earned serious international recognition, including two prizes at the prestigious USA International Harp Competition in Bloomington, Indiana. He is widely regarded as one of the most promising harpists of his generation.
Boucher will perform works by Bach, Fauré, and Rachmaninov. He is also a featured artist in the Toronto International Harp Festival, running July 6–12.
Admission is pay-what-you-can. All are welcome.
